Every minute of every day, someone needs blood.

That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation. Imagine if giving blood was part of everyone's life.

Something you did on a regular basis, like eating at your favorite restaurant. What kind of difference would that make? For the huge amount of people who receive blood transfusions every year, your donation can make the difference between life and death.

A small amount of blood donated makes a big difference to the life of the person receiving it. It is very important for us to donate blood - this selfless act of ours helps save lives. In Paphos alone, around 4000 litres of blood are used every year. The hospitals are desperate. I

t costs you nothing to donate some of your blood and will help someone else, possibly save their lives. Latchi Watersports have kindly donated their premises in order to have a blood drive. The blood drive will take place on 10th June 2009 from 10 am. In order to give blood you must have been in Cyprus for more than 6 months and are between 17 and 65 years old.

They need a minimum of 20 people confirmed for blood donation in order to bring the nurses from Paphos General Hospital. If you are interested please contact Tom on 26322095 and book your donation.
